We recently hosted our Rediscover trade partner appreciation lunch to slow down and say a massive thank you to our incredible trade partners. Getting to catch up over great food, strengthen our relationships, and celebrate the collective hard work that keeps our projects moving forward is a key aspect of our culture.

We were thrilled to be a part of the Mesa Police Department Open House right in the heart of downtown Mesa alongside our partners at the Mesa Police Department. It was a wonderful opportunity to welcome local community members, share a meal, and connect over the future of the headquarters.

To help bring the vision of the new Mesa Police Station to life, our team shared project progress videos, diving into the specialized construction process and the durable materials being used to build this state-of-the-art facility. Between the technical sneak peeks, the food, and the giveaway items, it was an incredible afternoon of partnership and celebration.

At Willmeng, we believe that building a community space means truly engaging with the neighborhood it serves. Thank you to the City of Mesa Police Department and to every resident who stopped by to see the progress. We are proud to build for you!

As an element of Papago Commerce Center, Willmeng recently completed the development of two industrial shell buildings and associated site improvements through our partnership with Clarion Partners! The exterior architecture was designed with several key structural features and specifications to ensure efficiency, modern aesthetics, and long-term functionality. These features include concrete tilt-up construction, clerestory glazing for natural light, painted tilt panels, and enhanced corner entries outfitted with storefront systems and metal panel canopies to support future warehouse operations.

Our team successfully navigated unique jobsite challenges to deliver these striking exteriors, including executing precision tilt-panel operations within a constrained site bordered by active rail lines to maintain safety and quality. Additionally, our team worked seamlessly to coordinate the exterior relocation and redesign of unforeseen utility conflicts, ensuring building foundations and fire protection infrastructure stayed on track. We are proud of our teams and the work of all our incredible trade partners, who all came together to bring the final parcel of this industrial park to life!

Willmeng was honored to be a sponsor of the 2026 Navajo Nation Economic Development Summit. With strong participation from our team and more than 400 attendees, this year’s theme,“Our Resources, Our Responsibility,” highlighted the incredible work being led across the Navajo Nation to strengthen sovereignty and create opportunities for future generations.

It was inspiring to learn about the innovative initiatives and investments being made to advance workforce development, economic growth, and self-determination while bringing opportunity, talent, and resources home to Navajo communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this important event and engage with so many leaders dedicated to building a stronger future for the Navajo Nation.

Our newest cohort of interns officially kicked off their version of The Willmeng Academy, diving straight into the core principles of construction management, project logistics, and our zero-incident safety culture. We are dedicated to building this class and creating a dedicated pipeline designed to mentor the next generation of industry leaders. By pairing real-world project exposure with structured training sessions led by our senior leadership team, we ensure these students gain the practical skills and strategic mindset needed to build successful careers. We are incredibly excited to have this talented group on board for the summer.

Recently, our team gathered for a special event to celebrate an incredible milestone: the high school graduation of our team members' children! A beautiful morning in the desert for an incredible cause! We were thrilled to return to the Wigwam Golf Club as a proud sponsor of the 17th Annual Fighter Country Foundation Golf Classic, supporting the men, women, and families of Luke Air Force Base.

At Willmeng, we are deeply committed to servicing those who serve, and this tournament is a fantastic way to celebrate, honor, and directly invest in our local Airmen. From the opening ceremonies to the final putts, it was an honor to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our community partners and show our gratitude for the sacrifices our military members make every day.

An exciting day for economic expansion in the Valley! We were honored to stand with United Foods International (UFI) for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of their brand-new, 125,000-square-foot facility expansion on Dobbins Road in Laveen.

This advanced space is built to bring new capacity to UFI's trusted manufacturing operations, equipping them to produce millions of gallons of specialized products right here in the Southwest.

As Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, among other city leaders, highlighted, delivering a project of this scale requires aligning a strong vision with precise ex*****on. Our team worked closely with UFI and city staff to complete this Tenant Improvement and ensure their sophisticated food-processing systems were integrated smoothly and safely.

A huge thank you to Mayor Gallego, the City of Phoenix, AZ USA, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and the entire UFI team for their collaborative partnership. We are proud to have built a facility that supports long-term industry growth and serves our community for years to come!
