40 Years of Life, Love, and Purpose | 40 Años de Vida, Amor y Propósito
Today I turn 40.
Hoy cumplo 40 años.
I was born in Mexicali, Baja California.
Nací en Mexicali, Baja California.
In 2004, I became a father for the first time in Mexico. That same year, I came to the U.S. chasing a better life.
En el 2004, fui papá por primera vez en México. Ese mismo año llegué a Estados Unidos buscando una vida mejor.
I started in construction—working hard, learning, and building not just with my hands, but with my heart.
Comencé trabajando en construcción—esfuerzo, aprendizaje y construyendo no solo con las manos, sino con el corazón.
In 2009, I married the love of my life, Laura.
En 2009, me casé con el amor de mi vida, Laura.
Our daughters were born in 2011, 2012, and 2015—each one a blessing and a reason to keep pushing forward.
Nuestras hijas nacieron en 2011, 2012 y 2015—cada una una bendición y una razón más para seguir adelante.
In 2020, we opened our woodworking business: Wood With Purpose—a dream come true.
En 2020, abrimos nuestro negocio de carpintería: Wood With Purpose—un sueño hecho realidad.
In 2021, just one month before our son was born, I survived a stroke. That moment changed my life.
En 2021, un mes antes del nacimiento de nuestro hijo, sufrí una embolia. Ese momento cambió mi vida.
But I made it through—with faith, strength, and the love of my family.
Pero salí adelante—con fe, fuerza, y el amor de mi familia.
I’m especially grateful to my parents for their love,support and always believing in me.
Estoy especialmente agradecido con mis padres por su amor, su apoyo y por siempre creer en mí.
Now I look at this photo, and all I see is purpose.
Hoy miro esta foto y solo veo propósito.
40 years. 5 children. 1 amazing wife. A family and a dream we keep building—together.
40 años. 5 hijos. 1 esposa increíble. Una familia y un sueño que seguimos construyendo—juntos.
