1. Flickering Lights
Could indicate a wiring issue or an overloaded circuit.

2. Warm Outlets

A little preparation now can help keep your home warm, your system running efficiently, and hopefully prevent those unexpected winter breakdowns.

Save this post and check these 7 things before the temperatures really drop!

1. Change your air filter.
A dirty filter makes your system work harder and can reduce airflow.

2. Schedule your furnace tune-up.
Don’t wait until the first freezing night to find out something isn’t working.

3. Check your vents & registers.
Make sure furniture, rugs, or curtains aren’t blocking them.

4. Check your thermostat.
Test your heating system before you really need it—and consider upgrading to a smart thermostat for better control.

5. Seal drafts around windows & doors.
Small gaps can let warm air escape and make your HVAC system work overtime.

6. Keep your outdoor unit clear.
Remove leaves, branches, and debris around your heat pump or outdoor HVAC equipment.
