Final week at our Fusion Gym project in Upper Darby. ⚡

We’re wrapping up the last few details and getting the final major lighting pieces installed before this project is officially complete.

Two large light installations are going in, along with the small finishing items that bring everything together.

A lot of work has gone into this space from start to finish, and we’re almost ready to show the full result.

Stay tuned for the final reveal.

Problem-solving is one of the biggest parts of construction that people don’t see.

A project can look perfect on paper, but once the work starts, conditions change, old issues show up, and new requests get added. That’s when you have to think clearly, make the right call, and keep everyone moving in the same direction.

In electrical, those decisions matter even more because one bad choice can affect safety, inspections, other trades, and the entire schedule.

The crews that stand out aren’t the ones that never run into problems. They’re the ones that know how to handle them.

If you need an electrical team that can think through challenges and keep the project moving, we’re ready for it.

Behind The Power — Episode 10 ⚡ | Upper Darby

This project keeps evolving, and this episode is all about the changes.

We’re going through new change orders, removing outlets that are no longer needed, checking lighting that was damaged from leaks, and uncovering hidden exit lights left behind from the previous building setup.

Commercial renovation work always comes with surprises. The important part is identifying what changed, figuring out what needs to stay or go, and keeping the project moving in the right direction.

Still more to do here—stay tuned for the next update.

Expense tracking is one of the most important parts of running a business—and almost nobody talks about it. 💰

Landing the client is only half the battle. If you don’t know exactly what you spent on the project, you don’t really know what you made.

Digging through email invoices and holding onto paper receipts should be a thing of the past. That’s how expenses get missed, numbers get thrown off, and time gets wasted.

That’s why we use the expense feature in Jobber. Whenever we buy materials or receive an invoice, we upload it directly to the project we’re working on. Everything stays organized, tied to the right job, and easy to find when we need it. 📲

It helps us track project costs, understand where our money is going, and get a clearer picture of how profitable each job really is.

If you’re running a service business and still tracking expenses manually, Jobber can make the process a whole lot easier.

Our goal on your project is simple: quality work without slowing down the schedule. ⚡

We understand that in construction, time is money. Delays affect everyone, so our job is to stay organized, communicate clearly, and complete our scope the right way the first time.

The goal is to give our clients confidence that the electrical work is handled, the schedule is protected, and the project can keep moving without unnecessary issues.

Quality work. Clear communication. No unnecessary delays.

Are you actually ready to take on commercial electrical work? ⚡

Commercial projects require more than just landing a bigger contract. You need the manpower, systems, and experience to handle the workload when things start moving fast.

From my experience, before stepping into commercial, build your team to the point where you can confidently handle 4–6 residential projects at the same time without everything depending on you.

If your team can manage that workload, stay organized, meet deadlines, and keep quality consistent, you’re in a much better position to take on larger commercial projects.

Build the team first. Then take on the bigger work.

Lights are on and we’re back at it in King of Prussia. ⚡

Our dental office project is moving into the final stages. The full wiring is complete, and we started with the lighting so the other trades can continue working throughout the space.

Now we’re moving through switches, outlets, and the remaining electrical finishes while we wait for the dental chairs and other medical equipment to arrive.

Everything is coming together, and this project is getting close to the finish line.

If you’re looking for a commercial electrician in King of Prussia, Montgomery County, or the Greater Philadelphia area, Alb Electric handles commercial electrical work for dental offices, medical spaces, retail, restaurants, offices, and new construction projects.

From rough-in and full wiring to lighting, outlets, switches, panels, and final installation, we help contractors and business owners keep projects moving from start to finish.

A strong electrical team should make the project easier to manage—not add another problem to the list.

That means showing up prepared, staying on top of the work, communicating when something changes, and making sure every installation is done the way it should be.

On a construction site, one delay can affect everyone. Our responsibility is to handle our scope, stay aligned with the schedule, and help keep the entire project moving forward.

For us, it’s not just about finishing the electrical work. It’s about being a team the GC can depend on from start to finish.
