AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Welder Qualification.

Both vertical and overhead weld tests were evaluated by Ultrasonic Testing (UT). No shortcuts—just preparation, discipline, and confidence in the quality of my welds.

The standard isn’t just making a weld look good; it’s producing welds that meet code and pass nondestructive examination.

If a system has structure it will ultimately function. Having a mobile welding system allows me to function anywhere. I felt like welding so 1 pulled over to a back block got set up and ran some beads for the love of the game..

As promised heres an update on my mobile welding rig! Now this isn't the finished product, there's still a few more tweaks and additions that have to be made. The idea of this post is to show transparency/honesty, two traits I've learned that's good for business. I also wanted to educate people on what goes into creating a rig like this. Other businesses spend thousands on leads just to be stuck mounted to a truck or have voltage drop off which ultimately puts more strain on your welder and power source. This rig allows me to eliminate such issues. Stay tuned for my next video I will be demonstrating skill along with functionality!
