This one was a bit of a departure for me. A friend brought me a large cowhide and asked me if I could make a headboard and some pillows. I had never done that so I figured this would be a good time to try. Here’s the results.
The headboard is 78 inches long and 14 inches wide and will mount directly to the wall.

A couple of new cutting boards, kind of an avant-garde style for me , but very functional nonetheless.

I’m not much of a painter, but a dear friend asked if I would carve this scene. So this is the result. Making the frame was probably my strongest contribution! It is made out of spalted maple with a thin strip of cherry accent.

A little piece of wall art for the leather shop. The Rocket Buster style boots are sporting wingtips and Aces of diamonds and hearts. I made the frame from live edge cedar I have had lying around for awhile. The wood kind of competes with the carving, but I like them both so here you go.

Finally turned out my first Ranger style belt. They are not near as easy as they look in the videos ha ha ha I guess most things aren’t.
