🐿️ Sometimes the best wildlife solution is the simplest one! 🏡

We recently helped some homeowners who were concerned about baby squirrels in their chimney. They were understandably worried about the noise and wanted the squirrels out—but they also didn't want to jump into an expensive repair if it wasn't necessary.

After evaluating the situation, we found that minimal intervention was the best approach.

Instead of immediately recommending costly repairs, we provided a simple solution: a rope was dropped down the chimney and securely tied off, giving Mom an easy way to climb in and out while caring for her babies. 🐿️❤️

This allowed the family to remain together and gave the squirrels a safe way to move around without unnecessary disturbance or expensive construction.

Wildlife removal isn't always about doing the most work. Sometimes it's about finding the right solution for the animal, the homeowner, and the home.

🦨 WHEN YOUR BACKYARD GRILL BECOMES A SKUNK’S NEW HOME… 😂

Yep… you read that right!

This little skunk decided our customer’s outdoor grill was the perfect place to settle in. Unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly the kind of backyard guest they were hoping for!

We installed a one-way door to give the skunk a safe way out while preventing it from getting back inside. Once we knew the skunk had left, we could permanently address the entry point and help prevent another wildlife tenant from moving in.

🦔 TWO ARMADILLOS — ONE HAPPY RELEASE! 🦔

These two little diggers had been making themselves right at home in a customer’s yard—and unfortunately, their digging was causing some unwanted damage.

We safely trapped both armadillos and relocated them to a more suitable habitat where they can do what armadillos do best: dig, forage, and explore! 🌿

At Prickly Pear, we believe wildlife removal should be humane, responsible, and effective. Our goal isn’t just to remove an animal—it’s to protect your property while respecting the wildlife that shares our Texas landscape.
