Quick roof question we get a lot: coating or new shingles?

High level only:
- Asphalt shingle roofs (most homes) usually need repair or full replacement when worn or storm-damaged — coatings aren’t a typical fix for steep residential shingles.
- Low-slope / commercial / metal systems are where reflective liquid-applied coatings often make sense — when the deck and membrane underneath are still sound.

Mpact Roofing (Pflugerville, founded 2019) is a GAF Master Elite and GAF CoatingsPro contractor. On qualifying GAF liquid-applied systems, that can include the Liquid-Applied Emerald Pledge limited warranty (term depends on the system and roof condition). We’re incredibly proud to have been part of something that goes far beyond roofing.

This summer, Mpact Roofing had the privilege of replacing the roof for Libraries of Love Africa, an organization dedicated to bringing books and literacy resources to children in Africa. 📖🌍

This project was made possible through an incredible community effort:
