One thing we’re seeing across lawns right now is just how much stress this summer’s heat and drought have caused. 🌱

When a lawn has been pushed to its limit, it’s important to focus on helping it recover rather than expecting it to look perfect overnight.

We are applying a granular fertilizer to provide the nutrients it needs as we transition into fall. As temperatures begin to cool, the combination of better growing conditions and proper nutrition should help the lawn start bouncing back.

Now we just need one more thing… some good old-fashioned Texas rain! 🙏🌧️

🌱 One of the most common mistakes we see with Bermuda grass? Mowing it TOO TALL!

This lawn was being mowed at 4 inches, and the grass was actually growing taller than the sprinkler heads. That means the water wasn’t being distributed as effectively as it should.

Proper mowing height matters! 🌱💦

Healthy lawn = proper mowing + proper watering + proper nutrition.

Overseeding isn’t always the answer in warm season grass.

Not all brown areas in a lawn are caused by drought and heat. ☀️

This lawn felt extremely spongy when walking across it, so we took a closer look. Upon inspection, the roots had been severely damaged by grubs, causing the grass to lift up almost like carpet.

We applied Acelepryn Xtra to help stop further damage and protect what was left of the lawn. Early identification is key when dealing with lawn-damaging insects!
