We have worked with Regency Builders, Inc. for over 8 years and they successfully turned our lake property into our dream home. It has been a pleasure to work with them and words cannot express our gratitude. They have been innovative, flexible, honest, hardworking, impeccable, and reasonable. We are truly grateful for all their skill and hard work.
Regency contacted us about starting to build two new homes on our street. Camille and I were tired of dragging the tandem Hobie kayak up our hill to the garage. We simply needed a lake outbuilding. Fortunately, Regency helped to create an easement through our neighbor’s property for the equipment and supplies needed for the building. The ingenuity and quality of their work was outstanding: vertical kayak holder, solid pour concrete foundation and walls, high ceilings, spacious entertainment area, subzero beer and wine refrigerators, dishwasher, etc. The outside stone, siding, paint, doors, and fixtures perfectly match our house. As a bonus, Regency accommodated us by installing selected gas lamps made in the French Quarter, New Orleans. It truly was one of our best investment decisions.
Since the outbuilding, Regency has completely remodeled our entire home in stages from the studs out. Every room was reconfigured or rebuilt. We loved the outside look of the original home, but on the inside was too confining. We went from a closed to open floor plan. This required architectural and engineering designs to knock out walls and place new steel beams to support the upper floors. Floors, ceilings, stairs, windows, mechanics, appliances, fireplaces, bathrooms, closets, lights, etc. was replaced or remade to our liking. Their quality of work and focus on detail was impeccable. Camille and I are busy physicians, and we were so lucky because the project schedule was consistently on time. Construction activity occurred every day. We also appreciated their construction wisdom or suggestions which greatly improve our home’s appearance and utility.
Regency is unbeatable. They made our dream home. Regency was honest and fulfilled all promises. They continue to help us with unforeseen problems, like a failed cast iron boiler. Regency helped us replace the boiler with a high efficiency one for less money than our first outside quote. Bottomline, they stand by their work and easy to contact by phone or text.
Jon and Wendy have become good friends with Camille and I over the years. It has been easy because they are straight forward, fun and, easy going. We would have never predicted that friendship because building and remodeling a house does have a possibility to be contentious. Our experience was the opposite. Jon, Wendy, Kevin, Cherie, team Regency, were one of the first people we invited to our upcoming wedding. They are great people; you cannot go wrong with Regency Builders!
