Groundsman Position

Timber Shores Tree Co. is looking for a reliable groundsman to join our crew in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area.

We’re looking for someone who can handle physical outdoor work, follow directions, work safely around tree equipment, and show up consistently. Experience with chainsaws, chippers, rigging, skid steers/mini loaders, or tree work is a plus, but reliability and attitude matter just as much.

Typical work includes:

dragging/processing brush
feeding chipper
running saws
helping with rigging
equipment operation
cleanup
General ground support for removals and trimming

Pay starts around $22–$25/hour depending on experience. Current schedule is typically around 20–30 hours/week, with longer production days when we’re busy. Potential for more hours as the company grows.

Need:

reliable transportation
ability to work outdoors in all conditions
good work ethic
safe around equipment
comfortable with physical labor

Long-term opportunity for the right person.

Driver Needed – Timber Shores Tree Co.

Looking for a reliable driver to help with our tree service operations in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs/Charlevoix area.

This is primarily a driving position, not a tree-work position. Main responsibilities would be transporting me/crew between jobs, moving company vehicles as needed, and occasionally helping with simple errands or jobsite logistics.

No tree experience required.

Looking for someone who is:

*Reliable and punctual
*Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
*Comfortable driving a 1-ton pickup/truck and trailer
*Flexible with schedule
*Professional around customers and job sites

This could be a great fit for someone retired/semi-retired or anyone looking for steady daytime work without heavy labor.

Pay: $17–$19/hour depending on experience and availability.

Message me directly if interested or if you know someone who might be a good fit.

Tight access. Multiple leaders. Houses, fence, deck, and almost no room for error.

Timber Shores Tree Co. recently completed this technical removal using controlled rigging to safely dismantle the tree piece by piece without damaging the surrounding property.

Whether it’s a straightforward removal or a tree in a difficult location, we have the equipment and experience to get it done safely and efficiently.

Tree Removal • Trimming • Storm Damage • Technical Rigging
