New and improved chicken coop built inside the shed with a solar fan in the ceiling some solar lights on the inside and a nice view with the window that opens and closes to include a room for hobbies and activities because why not

Day one of leave and I'm playing real estate mogul, upgrading the chicken coop from a backyard shack to a luxury penthouse inside the shed, complete with a fancy solar fan in the ceiling and some solar lights for ambiance, and suddenly we've got a walk-in coop that's the envy of all the other chickens, featuring a window with a view and space for hobbies, and activities because why not?

These girls are spoiled but so far approve

I am overflowing with gratitude for the past two weeks, filled with purposeful travels to the breathtaking towns of Norton and Colburn, nestled in the majestic Appalachian Mountains. Oh, the splendor that surrounds me is truly sublime. Though these towns may be steeped in tradition, my journey there was driven by a profound mission that transcended mere exploration. I was humbled to serve as a guardian of honor on CAO/CNO duty, escorting home a heroic Korean War soldier, PFC John Henry Moore, to his final resting place in Colburn, a journey that humbled my spirit. The weight of responsibility was palpable, yet divine. Recently, before embarking on the second leg of this journey this past weekend, I felt compelled to create a small gift to the family- a UV-printed image of PFC Moore on slate, a gesture from my heart to his family. As I settled into my hotel room last night, drifting off to sleep to the evening news, I was deeply moved to see the family's story, including the photo I had created, take center stage on the broadcast, a beautiful testament to the power of compassion and remembrance.
