This project started as a screened in porch that the homeowners could only enjoy when the weather cooperated. The goal was to create a seamless addition that looked like it had always been part of the home.

We enclosed the space with custom windows and doors, insulated everything, installed new flooring, electrical, lighting, HVAC, trim, and finished it off with a bright, open feel that brings the outdoors in without sacrificing comfort.

It’s hard to believe it’s the same space.

Projects like this take a lot of planning and attention to detail, but seeing the finished result makes every step worth it.

Mississippi is definitely reminding us it’s summer. Between the heat outside and the attic temperatures, I’m usually soaked in sweat within the first 15 minutes of climbing up there.

That said, the weather doesn’t stop the work. Progress is still being made every day, and this sunroom addition is finally starting to look like a finished space instead of a construction project.

A few more details, a little cleanup, and we’ll be wrapping this one up soon. Looking forward to showing off the finished product!

A little before and after.

This cedar split rail fence had definitely seen better days.

The homeowner told me that several contractors had come out and told him, “They don’t make that type of fence anymore.” Well, after a little digging and a couple weeks of tracking things down, I not only found replacement materials — I found them from the exact same manufacturer that made the original fence. Sometimes you just get lucky.

A few long days in the Mississippi sun later, and this fence is looking brand new again. To help protect that fresh cedar and keep it looking great for years to come, everything was finished with a quality sealant.

Sometimes the hardest part of a project isn’t the work itself — it’s finding the right materials to do it right.

I’ve officially started a new project for a client that will keep me busy over the next couple of months, but I wanted to give everyone a little sneak peek at something special I’ve been preparing behind the scenes. 👀👀

The planning is underway, materials are being lined up, and once this current project wraps up, it’ll be full steam ahead. This one is going to be a fun challenge and a major transformation from start to finish.

I started this project at the end of February and had most of it wrapped up by late April. Unfortunately, due to repeated delays from my glass supplier, the custom shower enclosure that was supposed to be installed in early May kept getting pushed back.

Today, after weeks of waiting, and very patient clients, the final piece finally went in.

Stressed is an understatement, but seeing it completely finished makes it all worth it. This was a true top-to-bottom master bathroom remodel—everything from the largest features down to the smallest paint touch-ups was transformed.

From demolition to the final details, every aspect of this space was reimagined and rebuilt. And now, it’s finally complete.

I couldn’t be happier with how this stunning master bathroom turned out.

This project got a clean little refresh with new flooring, updated vanity, modern mirrors, new lighting, and fresh shiplap walls to tie it all together.

Simple upgrades can make a huge difference in a space, and this one turned out bright, clean, and modern without losing that comfortable feel.

Always appreciate the customers trusting me with their homes — and thankfully this one stayed mostly free of “surprise projects” hiding behind the walls. 😅

Yall remember that massive project I was tied up on for about 5 months ? Well, here’s part of it — the deck and house addition I built last year.

This week I was back out there adding the finishing touch: a new covered section with a metal roof, fully sealed, flashed, and secured the right way.

It’s always nice getting to come back and add onto a project after seeing how much the original build transformed the space.

I may be quiet on here… but I’ve definitely not been slow.Right now I’m deep into a 8 week long full master bathroom rem...

I may be quiet on here… but I’ve definitely not been slow.

Right now I’m deep into a 8 week long full master bathroom remodel that’s going to take a couple more weeks—holding off on those photos until it’s finished.

In the meantime, here’s a snapshot of a few recent projects:
• Deck stair replacement
• Full bathroom demo (different bathroom)
• Kitchen backsplash upgrade
• Custom-built and stained barn doors

And plenty of electrical work behind the scenes (trust me—you don’t want a photo album of burnt outlets and wires that I’ve replaced😅)

If you’ve been thinking about a project, now’s the time to reach out—before I disappear into another 2-month remodel 😂
