In a partnership with Lock Excavating we installed a new driveway and yard all in one day. Top soil was cored out of the driveway location and 6” of stone brought in. Top Soil from the driveway was re-used to level out the back yard. We finished with the harley rake attachment to leave a perfect grass seed bed ready for planting.

From overgrown to wide open.

Just a few drone shots of the Fecon doing what it does best. 👊

This pond was completely hidden behind years of overgrown brush and trees.

A little time with the forestry mulcher, and it’s back where it belongs.

From overgrown brush to a flower meadow. 🌸

One of our favorite transformations to date. It’s always rewarding to turn neglected ground into something people can enjoy for years to come.

🔥 Curious About Prescribed Burning? Come Join Us! 🔥

We’re hosting our next Illinois Valley Prescribed Burn Association meeting and anyone is welcome to come check it out 👇

📅 Tuesday, June 2
⏰ 6:00 PM
📍 Eiten Ag-6131 Plank Road Peru,IL 61354

Big news — we were just officially approved as a non-profit in the state of Illinois 🎉

At this meeting, we’ll be talking about:
✅ What that means moving forward
✅ How you can sign up and get involved
✅ What our burn season will look like

If you’ve ever been interested in prescribed fire but felt a little unsure or intimidated… you’re not alone.

That’s exactly why this group exists.

🔥 Our goal is to take the intimidation out of burning by working together — learning, training, and helping each other safely improve our land.

Whether you own property, manage habitat, or just want to learn — this is a great place to start.

No experience needed. Just show up and be part of it.

🌱 Better land.
🔥 Safer burns.
🤝 Stronger community.

Hope to see you there!

Appreciate the support from Fecon 🙌

We’re just a local business here in Northern Illinois, working hard to help landowners take back their property and improve wildlife habitat.

Grateful for every opportunity and every customer that trusts us.

Teamwork make big projects happen 💪🏼. Had the chance to partner with Lock Excavating on this pond + 900 ft driveway build, awesome local collaboration.
More projects like this coming soon.

Phase 1 of brush clearing for a local cemetery in Spring Valley,IL. We mulched all brush piles down to the ground and pushed back the field edge for easier future maintenance. We will continue to monitor this site and maintain as needed to help create another beautiful space for our community.
