Ended up getting two coats of primer put on the walls, all the loose paint scraped off the floor,, and epoxy floor primer rolled out. (We went this route instead of grinding due to the very little traffic that will be in this closet.)

Here is some progress of the last couple of days. Tomorrow we work on putting the door in, doing some electrical along with some sanding, touching up some spots on the drywall, and potentially starting on an epoxy floor. We'll see what we can get to!

From an empty space to a fully framed, wired, and drywalled (just hung) room in a week. Not too bad! Now we're taking a slight "break" on it to put new lights in throughout the bedroom before finishing the drywall. The clients definitely wanted better lighting after seeing how good their closet was!
And yes, we know it's an interior wall and there will be a vented door, but we went with sound wool insulation to cut down on the noise from the furnace.

We started a new job today! First up we had to remove the broken window AC and patch the wall. Then we measured and marked out where the walls are going to be for the closet. Then we took up the carpet and by that time we really didnt want to make a big mess by tearing into the walls so we cleaned up for the day. Tomorrow we will install supports in the wall and ceiling and start framing.

I know some of you were waiting for the post of the finished product for this shower remodel but you'll have to wait one more day because today are the progress pictures from this week! Upon installing the pannels a couple weeks ago we found that they were broken. It appeared that the box was brushed with a pallet jack or fork off of a fork lift and it shattered both of the panels. We called the manufacturers and they sent us out new ones to match the current pattern for free! Stay tuned for tomorrow to see the finished product!

P.s. Yes it's in the comments, but i'm going to put it here too. Yes, that is green board and not cement board. However, there is no grout and this setup is not water permeable what so ever, so it's completely safe! Plus it's per manufacturers specifications and Castico even refers people to this video for installation help.

Our project so far this week. Removing a tub/shower combo to install a beautiful composite walk-in shower with a chair, hence the blocking on the left. We had to put down some self leveler today as the floor was to out of level to fix with some extra thinner. Stay tuned in to see the finished product!
