🏟️ One of the world’s most impressive new stadiums opens Friday - and Earthworks stone is all over it. Check out this sneak peak & tune in!!

Northwestern University’s brand-new Ryan Field makes its highly anticipated debut Friday night. The state-of-the-art, $850+ million stadium is being hailed as a new standard for the college football experience - and we couldn’t be prouder of the role the Earthworks team played in bringing it to life.

Working alongside our amazing and talented partners at Illinois Masonry, Earthworks quarried and fabricated the Indiana Buff Limestone featured extensively throughout the stadium, along with its black granite base.

This incredible project represents the craftsmanship and hard work of our quarry, fabrication, drafting, CNC, transportation, sales and support teams and our partners at Illinois Masonry- and we can’t wait to see their work showcased on the national stage.

Honor. Educate. Never Forget.

Earthworks is incredibly proud to have played a small part in the completion of the first phase of the National Memorial of Military Ascent in Grafton, Illinois.

Set against the limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, this remarkable memorial honors the courage and sacrifice of U.S. Army Rangers who scaled the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc on D-Day. Twelve life-sized bronze Rangers ascend the Grafton bluffs, creating a powerful tribute and a lasting place to honor, remember and educate future generations about the sacrifices of the men and women who have served our country.

As part of Phase One of this important project, Earthworks fabricated monument pieces from our Pewter Mist natural stone. We are proud to see the skill and craftsmanship of our team become part of a memorial with such a meaningful and enduring purpose.

The National Memorial of Military Ascent is more than a monument. It is a place for reflection, remembrance and education - and the vision continues with plans for an interactive military museum as part of Phase Two.

What a weekend for the masonry industry! 🧱👏

The Earthworks team was proud to come out and support the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 in St. Louis and cheer on the incredibly talented masons who put their skills to the test.

Events like this are a great reminder of the craftsmanship, hard work, and talent behind our industry. We loved seeing so many skilled professionals come together for a little friendly competition and a whole lot of impressive bricklaying!

Congratulations to this year’s winners and to every mason who stepped up and competed. It takes tremendous skill to do what you do, and we’re proud to support the people and craftsmanship that keep our industry strong.

You're probably looking at the timber framing. I keep thinking about the natural stone hearth underneath it.

My client and I drove out to Earthworks in Perryville and walked the huge stone yard until we found just the right piece. It had to be set before the walls went up, or there would have been no way to get it into the house.

Sometimes the details that make a home special get decided long before it looks like a home.

Did you know Earthworks stone is part of one of St. Louis’ most extraordinary works of art?

In 2013, artist Andy Goldsworthy created Stone Sea at the Saint Louis Art Museum using Earthworks EW Gold limestone, quarried and fabricated in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

More than a decade later, this remarkable installation continues to showcase the beauty, character, and possibilities of Missouri natural stone.
