My journey didn’t start with a business, a crew, or a name that people knew. It started with a decision — one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.
I had built a great career in the Boilermakers Union. I had a good job, a solid future, and a trade that provided for me. Walking away from that career wasn’t easy. I was leaving behind something I had worked hard to earn, something many people would have been proud to hold onto for the rest of their lives.
But deep down, I knew I wanted something more.
I wanted to build something of my own.
I wanted to create a future where I wasn’t just working for a company — I wanted to become the man behind one.
So I took a chance on myself.
I went back to the beginning in Bowling Green, Ohio, and started learning the fundamentals of another trade that would ultimately change my life: carpentry. Through Penta County High School, I earned my carpentry education and began developing the skills, discipline, and knowledge that would become the foundation of my career.
Starting over meant starting from the bottom.
There were no shortcuts. I had to learn the trade, put in the hours, make mistakes, learn from them, and keep showing up. I learned that being good with your hands is only part of being successful in construction. You also have to be dependable. You have to take pride in your work. You have to stand behind your word. And most importantly, you have to be willing to keep learning.
Every job became another lesson.
Every challenge became another opportunity to grow.
Every setback taught me something that success never could.
Over time, the person who once walked away from a great career became a carpenter, a craftsman, a leader, and eventually a business owner. What started as a goal became a vision, and that vision became a company.
Today, I look back and realize that walking away from my old career wasn’t really walking away from something.
It was walking toward something.
I was building myself before I could build a company.
The lessons I learned along the way — hard work, accountability, craftsmanship, perseverance, and doing things the right way — are still the values that guide me today. My company is a reflection of that journey. It represents years of starting at the bottom, earning my knowledge, putting in the work, and refusing to quit when things got difficult.
I’m proud of where I came from, but I’m even more proud of what I’ve built.
This story isn’t about overnight success. It’s about taking a risk when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed. It’s about having the courage to start over, the humility to learn, and the determination to keep moving forward.
I didn’t start with everything figured out.
I started with a goal.
Then I put in the work.
And today, I’m not just the man who dreamed about owning a company — I’m the man who built one.
From the bottom in Bowling Green, Ohio, to now perrysburg today, this journey has shaped me, my work, and the company I represent.
And the best part is, I’m still building exceptional projects every month with the fantastic people ive put in place around me. My goal was to become a great contractor but today I no longer see this company as just another renovation contractor but more so a home for fine craftsman who share my vision while taking great pride in there work.
