A small but mighty rehab project here in Perrysburg packs a lot of punch. Coping and tile stayed put on this one as we focused on the structural concerns with the floor and walls along with updating equipment. This needed some major TLC but we love the Wet Edge Signature Matrix Brilliant Blue! Before and after photos ⬇️ thank you SonSeeker Pool Masonry for the collaboration/ application of the Wet Edge and dodging rain nonstop to get this one done!

📣 Heads‑Up, Pool Owners! Transparency Matters - So Here’s What We Know (from one of our distributors)

We believe in keeping communication open and honest. When we get industry updates that directly affect our customers, we share them - because pricing isn’t something we make up in our heads. There’s a real method (and unfortunately, sometimes madness) behind it.

The Big Three manufacturers -Hayward, Fluidra, and Pentair - are rolling out price increases of 3–5% very soon.
These changes come straight from the vendors and will impact retailers nationwide.

What this means for you:
If you’re planning to purchase equipment from any of these brands, it’s best to do it now rather than later. We’re able to honor current pricing until the effective dates, but after that, our pricing will adjust to match the increases.

We just want you informed, prepared, and never surprised.

If you have questions or want to plan ahead, give us a call - we’re here to help you navigate the season smoothly.

“Can’t you just replace the steps?” Yes but it’s expensive. “Why does it cost so much money?” Well - it’s a process. Those babies don’t just pop in and out of the ground. The concrete has to be removed. It has to be dug out. The footer has to jack hammered out, hours of filling buckets/wheel barrows to remove the dirt, getting the new steps in place, attaching it to the steel wall, re pouring the footer, screening, and backfill, then concrete behind the steps and a new liner for the pool. But the end results are fantastic. Thank you Evan and Alex for humoring me and taking pics. It made me laugh but hopefully can be educational to anyone considering a step replacement!

This Perrysburg renovation is a perfect example of why proper construction matters. From step one - hiring your builder.

This older pool was built by another builder without stone or screening around the perimeter - meaning the original builder simply dug a hole and built the pool in. No drainage. No protection. And as we all know… water follows the path of least resistance. It wasn't an easy investigation either on the why till we really were able to dig deeper into what happened here. That took some time.

Over time, water pushed in from the sides and bottom, causing major structural cracks. Our team had to install staples throughout the floor and walls to secure and stabilize the shell. Once finished we refinished the pool surface with Wet Edge Prism Matrix Deep Sea Blue

When you hire a builder, you’re not just choosing a pool - you’re choosing the foundation that determines how that pool survives the next 20–30 years. This project speaks volumes.

Stardust grey from Latham Pool Products, Inc isn’t one of the typical picks when customers work with us on liner choices. But when someone takes a chance, steps out of the ordinary, we applaud them as it gives us the opportunity to say - see look at that! We love it. Thank you to this family in Millbury for doing exactly that and sending me over these pictures. We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July with this super cool liner.
