🏠Homeowner tip: Don’t ignore these 5 plumbing warning signs
A lot of plumbing problems start small and become expensive when they’re put off too long.
A few things worth keeping an eye on:
💧 Water heater: If it’s leaking, making unusual noises, or you’re running out of hot water faster than normal, it may be trying to tell you something.
🚽 Toilet: If it constantly runs, rocks back and forth, or needs to be flushed multiple times, it’s worth getting checked out.
🚿 Low water pressure: A sudden change in pressure can sometimes point to a plumbing issue that shouldn’t be ignored.
đź’¦ Slow drains: If a drain is repeatedly slowing down, constantly using drain cleaner may only be treating the symptom.
🧂 Water softener: If you’re suddenly noticing hard-water spots, dry skin, or changes in your water quality, your softener may need attention.
One thing we’ve learned working on homes is that catching a plumbing issue early is usually a lot easier than dealing with the damage after something fails.
