#1 Turkey Rule year after year is this… 🦃

You can’t kill turkeys, if you don’t have turkeys.. You can’t have turkeys if you don’t manage for turkeys…

Here at B&B Outdoors, one of our biggest passions is increasing turkey habitat and helping grow healthier turkey populations for you & future generations.

A lot of folks complain about declining turkey numbers, but we believe in putting boots on the ground and doing something about it. From nest predator trapping to strategic habitat improvement, prescribed burning, timber management, and planting turkey-friendly food sources, every decision we make is focused on creating better environments for wildlife to thrive.

Healthy Turkey Habitat = Healthy Wildlife All The Way Around

Turkeys need more than just woods. They need nesting cover, bugging areas for poults, reliable food sources, and protection from overpopulated predators. That’s where proper land and wildlife management comes in. These properties pictured started out with two or three birds year one, by year three with the proper management, we had proof of 4-8 Gobblers on these tracts. Here’s the kicker, these tracts are only 40 & 80 acres big. 😅

Cogon Grass or Invasive Problem? Call us!

We specialize in Cogon grass control, as well as other invasive species.

In this case, our Wildlife Management side of the business came into play. We sprayed, and tilled under the invasive. Then done some soil testing to get the soil perfect, and turned this invasive patch into a clover patch for the Wild Turkeys 🦃

All products we use come from Todd Booker with our local Farmers CO-OP. We like to shop local! 💪
