Etico is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Superintendent for Etico Stucco. Attention to plan details, workmanship and quality control is required and of the utmost importance. This is a salary position and compensation will commensurate with verifiable field experience.
The Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel to successfully complete the job on schedule and within budget. Projects are time-sensitive so multi-tasking is necessary to effectively complete daily tasks.
Fluent in both English and Spanish for this position is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Functions:
• Manage Staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
• Direct activities concerned with production, pricing, sales and/or distribution.
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees.
• Schedule Project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadline.
• Interpret and explain plans to administrative staff and workers.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Create/Take actions to deal with results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies on site.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary.
• Keeps cost records on work performed and materials.
• Great and positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry is required including reading plans/layouts/prints.
• Have extensive knowledge of stucco trades and other construction trades that stucco is dependent on.
• Ability to use cloud-based technologies.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
