Several weeks ago, we made every pet owner’s most dreaded decision and said goodbye to our beloved Snickelfritz (yes, that really was our cat’s name). ❤️
Since then, we’ve planted a satsuma mandarin over the place where he rests, right beside his “brother,” whose resting place is marked by a fig tree that has since grown into a beautiful, fruit producing tree.
There’s a beautiful kind of comfort in watching a life once so cherished continue to live on through something that grows, bears fruit, and creates new memories. A living reminder that love doesn’t end; it simply takes on a new form. 🍊🌳
