Introducing The Bud Project by Best Choice Roofing
This October, we are incredibly proud to launch The Bud Project: a roof giveaway for a local individual or family whose life has been affected by cancer.
The Bud Project was created in memory of Robert “Bud” Theune. Bud, as he was known by friends and family, was the father of Tyler Theune, the owner of Best Choice Roofing Emerald Coast. He sadly lost his battle with cancer in the summer of 2025. Bud had a heart for helping people and was heavily involved in his community. We know firsthand the toll that a long-term battle can take on a family. Our hope is that through The Bud Project, we can take one major burden off the shoulders of someone who has already carried more than their fair share.
If you have battled cancer, are currently going through treatment, or know someone whose family has been deeply impacted by cancer and who is in need of a new roof, we want to hear your story. One deserving local homeowner will receive a new roof from Best Choice Roofing Emerald Coast.
