What we build is important. But who we build it for, and who we get to build it alongside, matters even more.

At Hanto + Clarke, our work is rooted in relationships. We want our clients to feel heard and taken care of, our team to know their work matters, and the people we encounter to feel that they’re more than just another part of a project.

Because at the end of the day, the buildings are what we build, but the people are why we do it.

And sometimes, the people we meet along the way happen to have four legs and a pretty great personality. 🐶

The before tells one story. The after tells another.

What was once an open site is now Allen Turner Genesis: a finished space shaped around a growing automotive brand and the customers who walk through its doors.

A transformation like this doesn't happen in one dramatic moment. It takes months of decisions, coordination, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and hundreds of small details coming together along the way.

Now, you can see the result.

For us, the most rewarding part of a project isn't simply watching a building take shape. It's seeing the original plans become a place that has a purpose, serves people, and becomes part of the community around it.

Allen Turner Genesis is a great example of what can happen when a lot of people do their part, do it well, and keep moving toward the same finish line.

A successful commercial space needs to work from every angle: welcoming customers, supporting employees, and giving a business room to grow.

Our team enjoyed bringing Hometown Contractors’ new showroom in Pace, Florida, to life.

This space was designed with their customers and the experience they provide in mind, creating a welcoming environment for homeowners to take the next step in their home improvement projects.

We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to a project that supports a local business and the people it serves!

Every project has a beginning, but the best beginnings are shared with the people who help bring the vision to life.

Before the plans become walls and the vision becomes a finished space, there’s a group of people who choose to build it together.

Different roles, different perspectives, one shared goal.

That’s what makes a groundbreaking meaningful to us. It’s a reminder that the best projects start with good people, strong partnerships, and a team willing to show up for one another.

We’re grateful & inspired by the team who continue to bring visions to life.

There’s a lot that goes into expanding a dealership while keeping it running, and Kia Autosport of Pensacola is a perfect example of that.

Working within an active dealership takes thoughtful coordination, flexibility, and a team committed to doing things the right way.

This project included two major additions: a new service area and service reception, along with renovations throughout the existing space. All while the dealership remained open and operational.

We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside Kia Autosport and help create a space that better serves their team and customers.

Behind every procedure is a team, a patient, and a reason to keep moving healthcare forward.

Hanto + Clarke helped bring Ascension Sacred Heart’s EP Lab to life, creating a specialized environment designed to support physicians and care teams as they diagnose and treat heart rhythm conditions. ❤️

We’re grateful to play a part in strengthening healthcare in the community we call home and to contribute to spaces that make a difference for patients and the people caring for them.

Today, we’re celebrating the people who keep our communities moving forward.

Every project we’re part of is made possible by the skilled laborers, tradesmen and women, subcontractors, crews, and countless hardworking people we have the privilege of working alongside every day.

From the first day on site to the final detail, their commitment is what turns plans on paper into places our community can use and enjoy.

This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the people who show up, put in the work, and build something that lasts.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Hanto + Clarke.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Memorial stands as a lasting tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in service to our community.

Hanto + Clarke was honored to help bring this meaningful space to life; a place to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to recognize the families, colleagues, and community they left behind.

Some projects are measured in square feet. Others are measured by the meaning they carry.

This one will stand for generations. 💙

A special thank you to photographer Mike Haytack.

If you want to make a difference in the life of a child facing a medical crisis, read below, click the link, and ship a teddy bear directly to them.

🧸Send a Pediatric Patient a Teddy Bear and Comfort at the Same Time!🧸

Sue Straughn, news anchor of WEAR 3 and Stephen Clarke, Hanto + Clarke General Contractors believe the same thing that the team at Studer Family Children’s Hospital believes: a teddy bear is never just a teddy bear.

It’s a hug when Mom or Dad can’t be there.

A friend when the room feels unfamiliar.

A little piece of home in a hospital bed.

And a comforting reminder to our tiny patients that they are loved and never alone.

For a child facing cancer, illness, or a difficult day, that soft, furry friend can bring comfort and courage when they need it most.

That’s why the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation is celebrating National Teddy Bear Day.

They need our help to fill pediatric hospital rooms with a little more comfort, a lot more smiles and plenty of snuggles. ❤️

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and as we approach National Teddy Bear Day on September 9, you have the opportunity to make a difference for a child right here in our community.

🧸 Send a teddy bear directly to a pediatric patient through the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation Amazon Wish List:

For a child going through something no child should have to face, that little bear might mean more than we’ll ever know. 🐻❤️

Pensacola loves Bagelheads, and we’re grateful to have helped bring their second location to life at the University of West Florida’s Argonaut Village.

Created with students and faculty in mind, the Bagelheads UWF Store was created to be a convenient place on campus to grab the bagels, sandwiches, and coffee they already know and love.

It’s always exciting to see a local favorite continue to grow, and we’re thankful to have played a part in creating a space that will become part of the everyday rhythm of campus life.

Here’s to location number two, Bagelheads! 🥯
