At VWC Construction, we know a good shelter starts with understanding your animals. After all, what works for a few horses may look very different from what works for cattle, goats, or a growing herd.

That’s why, before building, we consider how your animals—and you—will actually use the space every day: Where should the shelter sit to offer protection from wind and weather? Should animals be able to come and go freely, or do you need an enclosed area? Is there convenient access for feeding, hauling bedding, and bringing in equipment? Will the layout make regular cleaning easier?

We know such details matter long after construction is finished.

One project wrapping up… and another one coming soon.

This 24' x 36' workshop is ready for the homeowners to take it from here! We completed the building shell, concrete, and exterior and now they are finishing out the interior themselves to make it exactly what they need.

And they’re already looking ahead — we’re currently working with them on plans for a 50' x 76' pole barn for the property as well!

We love getting the opportunity to help customers plan what’s next for their property.

Tucked into the Colorado hills, this custom post-frame building turned out absolutely incredible. Green metal, Black roof and trim, oversized garage doors, and a full-length covered porch make this one stand out from every angle.

One of our recently completed Westcliffe projects — and this one was a big one.

This custom build near Westcliffe, Colorado brought together a home, covered porches, breezeway and a 36' × 44' post-frame garage into one cohesive project.

The garage features three garage bays along with attic trusses designed to give the homeowners the option for additional finished space in the future. The home and garage are connected by a window-filled breezeway, and the entire project was designed to take advantage of a pretty incredible Custer County setting.

We don't have our final photos back yet, but these progress pictures were too good not to share. 😍 We'll be sharing the completed project soon.
