This was supposed to be a quick face lift. New composite decking, trim and railings. Well as you can see that changed very quickly. This is at least 10-15 years of damage and a previous contractor swapped the sliding door and just covered it up with some window flashing tape and moved on. Fortunately for my customers i rebuilt the rotted windows and did this part of the job at a very minimal time and material cost to them. We replaced all the rotted rim joist, framing, headers, sill plates, insulation, sheathing and siding! Very pleased with how this came out!
