Bluebeard and Butterfly Bush are woody perennials that pack a big punch of late season color! As late season starters, these usually don’t start showing signs of life until around May. It’s best to prune them once you start seeing those buds swelling in spring. Since they’re new wood bloomers, there’s no risk of cutting off your blooms for the season if you prune appropriately.

Featured, we have Izzy with ‘Dark Knight’ Bluebeard (Caryopteris) and Kelly with ‘Pugster Blue®’ Butterfly Bush (Buddleia). ‘Dark Knight’ is a profuse bloomer with fragrant, bluish-purple flowers that are showy from late summer to early fall. It matures to around 2-3’ tall and wide. ‘Pugster Blue®’ is a dwarf Butterfly Bush that produces large, full-sized blooms on a compact frame. It matures to around 2’ tall by 3’ spread.

These beautiful plants make excellent additions for sunny, protected areas and attract many different pollinators, too!

We're entering the final countdown until our Annual Inventory Reduction Auction. Our above ground inventory will be locked for sale after September 26th. All purchases of above ground Balled and Burlap trees must be made before Department close on that Saturday. Items purchased afterward are subject to fall or spring dig.

Our Annual Inventory Reduction Auction dates have been announced! This is not a going out of business sale!

Our auction will begin on Thursday, October 8th at 9:00 a.m. and run through Saturday October 17th, with 3 lots closing every minute beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Loading Information

Loading will be provided by our experienced staff. In order to be loaded, you must present a printed copy of your receipt stating PAID IN FULL. North Branch Nursery is not responsible for lost or missing items.

Loading will begin October 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Loading hours after the 18th will be as follows:

Monday-Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All plant material must be picked up by Saturday, October 31st at 4:00 p.m. unless other arrangements have been made. Any remaining items will be considered abandoned.

Delivery/Installation

Only Delivery Services will be available for auction items. INSTALLATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR AUCTION ITEMS THIS YEAR. Quotes for delivery can be made after items have been purchased and a paid in full receipt is provided, as both the destination and the sizes and quantities of individual items will be needed in order to quote a price. Items purchased at auction have no warranty.

Terms:

Auction Begins Thursday, Oct 8th and ends Saturday, Oct 17th beginning at 9:00 am
Bids are piece in the lot. For example, if a lot is priced at $20, and there are 3 items in the lot, total cost of the lot before buyers premium and sales tax is $60.
Bidding will be extended by 1 minute if someone places a last moment bid
Customers must register through Ethos Auction
All payments go through the Auctioneer’s office
Only Visa/Mastercard accepted
18% Buyers Premium will be added to determine the final sales price
Sales Tax will be collected unless prior arrangements are made with Ethos Auction.
All purchases must be paid for immediately after the auction ends.
No refunds will be given on auction material.

North Branch Nursery is not responsible for lost or missing items.
There is no warranty on items purchased at the auction.
