This one won't be available for a couple weeks, as her root system took some damage while moving her into soil. But I wanted to show her off. She's a unique little pinky princess and before I beat her up she was growing like a w**d. Hopefully she bounces back quickly.

Kaempferia Pink Panther
The Kaempferia Pulchra Pink Variegated (often referred to as pink variegated peacock ginger or under marketing names like Pink Panther) is a rare, low-growing tropical rhizomatous perennial from the ginger family (Zingiberaceae) native to Southeast Asia.
Key Plant Features
• Foliage: Broad, flat-lying oval or rounded leaves arranged in a low rosette, featuring intricate patterns of green, silver, cream, and soft-to-vibrant pink marbling or striping.
• Flowers: Small, dainty pink, purple, or lavender flowers emerge directly from the base of the plant near the soil during the summer months.
• Growth Habit: Compact and clumping, typically staying under 6 to 12 inches tall and spreading via underground rhizomes.
• Dormancy: Like other gingers, it is deciduous and naturally goes dormant in late fall or winter, dropping its leaves before re-emerging with fresh shoots in spring.
Care Requirements
• Light: Bright, indirect or filtered shade. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can easily scorch the delicate pink-and-white variegated sections of the leaves.
• Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist and well-draining during the active growing season. Reduce watering significantly or let the medium dry out once the plant enters winter dormancy.
• Soil: Rich, loose, chunky aroid-style or peat-based potting mix amended with perlite and orchid bark.
• Humidity & Temperature: Thrives in high humidity (60% or higher) and warm indoor or tropical outdoor climates (USDA Zones 8–11).
