Tree removals in a tough economy. Let's be honest, it never hurts to save some money. There was a lot of tree work that was performed today by our team broken tree tops, tree removals near powerlines, stump grinding and large limb removals but our morning started with 2 pine tree removals in Friendswood.
This customer just needed to eliminate the threat of these trees falling on their neighbors house. So, we worked out a deal to just get these trees on the ground safely and let this homeowner deal with the debris.
We are a full service company but we do help however we can. If you're just needing chipping done, debris hauled, stumps ground or putting trees on the ground safely we are more than willing to help. Our guys love working 💪🏽 and we especially love working for good people.

I cannot stress enough. If you see mushrooms on your trees then please be proactive and take the proper steps to resolve the issues. Mushrooms are a sign of rot. As you can see this large limb broke off of the trunk and fell into the street. The homeowner made the right call and had the tree completely removed as well as a hackberry that also had mushrooms near the base of the tree in the backyard.
Anyone that does trees knows the complexity of this tree due to the fact that there was no redirect or tie in point. Nevertheless, we were able to take these trees down with zero damage to the property

Tree removal for a HOA was on the agenda for today along with straightening out a leaning oak tree. The majority of the trees were dead in this group but even the ones that were alive had issues such as canker and cavities. There will be a couple of trees planted nearby to make up for the loss.

This is the first pine tree this year to fall victim to pine bark beetles that we have come across. Very unfortunate situation for this homeowner as this was 1 of 2 that remain in his front yard.
Pine bark beetles attack weakened and stressed trees. Please water your trees. The beetles will be active from now until October. If you notice yellowing and brown needles please take a closer look at the trunk to see if there are any signs of boring and sawdust. If this is the case, you must act quickly in removing the tree before the beetles find a new host.
Tree care workers are sometimes referred to as "tree killers" and I admit we can slay trees with the best of them but I got into this industry because I love trees. We maintain and care for trees far more than we do removing them. In fact, tree removal is the last resort.
There is a art to tree removal but if you want to see a true masterpiece that can only be accomplished with the pruning from a person with a trained eye and a relentless drive for perfection. Tree work is hard. You have to love it or you'll never see these trees reach their true potential.

This pecan tree was dead and the new home owner was very concerned not only about the tree falling but also about how we would be able to get it down safely without damaging anything.
The tree was in a very tight spot and had to be cut in 12 inch sections or less in order to get it down safely and also because we only had about a 30 inch wide walkway to get to the street. We usually are able to use a dolly or heavy equipment to move logs but these had to be carried out by hand but if there's a will there's a way!

Large limb removal over a screened in pool. It is a honor to be trusted on jobs like this. All we have ever asked for is the opportunity to earn your business. Doing jobs like these is what earns people's trust.
This limb extended far over the screened in pool. Every limb needed to be tied off with a rigging rope to a redirect, lowered slowly and pulled with a tag line away from the structure. No tears. No rips. No punctures to the screen was done in the removal of this limb.

What a absolutely beautiful way to end our work week! While pruning a palm tree these 2 owls came out of hiding from beneath the palm fronds. We were able to get several pictures and even a short video of these wonderful creatures.
One of the most rewarding things about tree care is meeting some really great people and being able to enjoy the outdoors. Seeing these owls was the cherry on top to a safe and productive work week.
I personally plan to spend some more time outdoors this weekend with my little ones in hopes they can share the same love for the outdoors as myself.

Trees are wonderful but they can also cause unwanted damage due to their root system. Driveways, pipes and home foundation are especially at risk. Some people feel the need to remove the whole tree but we always try to offer a solution to the problem.
Root barriers are always best to install in the cooler months when the tree is under less stress due to heat and possible drought.
Root barriers are a long term option for root issues but we do offer a more affordable option of root pruning.
