A little summer photo dump!

It’s been a busy few months, and I wanted to share some of the work that’s kept us moving. From complete garage door installs and replacements to repairs, before & afters, logic board swaps, opener work, and everything in between.

Every job is a little different, but the goal is always the same — get it done right and keep your garage door working the way it should.

After more than 2½ years of operating out of a storage unit and my garage, I'm proud to announce that I've purchased a building in Pearl City!
This building holds a special place in my heart. My dad worked out of this very building throughout my entire childhood, so being able to call it home for my own business is something I will never take for granted.
This is a huge step for Ben Kempel Construction, and I'm excited to have a dedicated shop that will allow me to better serve my customers and our community for years to come.
And, of course, the first upgrade is an easy decision... a brand-new garage door! Stay tuned for the transformation, and thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I truly couldn't have done it without you.

Another great before and after of some new Clopay door installs. This customer decided they wanted to change the trim out to black as well and I was up for the challenge. Was a nice change to get the aluminum brake out and do some bending like the old days. These turned out great!

This was a challenging one to walk into this morning. But with some critical thinking and some ingenuity we got it re-hung and back to running in no time. Just a reminder to all homeowners, if something like this ever happens please make the call to my cell first before you do anything yourself. Pictures and an explanation of what happened saved this door from being a complete rebuild by simply calling me at 1030 last night and having the patience to wait until I arrived this morning to get it fixed correctly.

I don’t typically make posts like this, but I feel it’s important to share—
Over the past week, I’ve been working throughout Pearl City, Lena, Stockton, and local areas assisting with property repairs. During that time, I’ve noticed a significant number of out-of-area companies coming in to perform work.
While many may have good intentions, these companies are not rooted in our communities and typically do not contribute to the local economy beyond the immediate job.
Whenever possible, I encourage you to consider supporting local contractors first. Local businesses are invested in these communities—they live here, work here, and consistently give back through local support, sponsorships, and services.
Choosing local helps strengthen the very communities we all call home.

Its been a long week and I think we're all tired of the storms and rains. My prayers go out to lena tonight. I was there with my guys from PCFD as soon as the tones hit. With that said and seeing the damage I will be available in the morning to assist as needed.
