We recently responded to a service call where the home lost its neutral at the meter socket — a dangerous condition that can cause fluctuating voltage, damaged appliances, or even fire risk.

The utility company temporarily patched the issue to restore service, but the meter socket itself was severely corroded and unsafe. Our team replaced the meter socket to permanently correct the problem and bring the service back up to code.
