i use construction adhesive on pretty much every piece i install single ply or multi ply just makes everything tighter and stronger long term

my go to is .na tite pl premium that stuff is no joke grabs hard and holds up over time it’s been around forever for a reason

i also like that they’ve got different versions for different applications so you can match the product to the job instead of forcing one thing to do everything

as a contractor you want materials you can trust and this is one of them 👊

grabbed some pro structural screws the other day to try instead of my usual rss figured i’d give them a shot

to be honest they drove real nice no issues and seemed to bite and hold well first time using them so can’t speak on long term yet but initial impression is solid

price didn’t really seem much different either but what i did notice is how many different styles and options they have for similar applications

the bit they give you in the box threw me off at first looks almost stripped out but it actually works better than a standard t30 tried using a grk t30 and it didn’t seat or drive as clean as the one they provide

not sure if i’m 100% sold yet only time will tell but so far not bad 👊

this is why i love remodeling… you go from straight framing speed to finish level quality real quick

not a knock on framers i know plenty that take pride in their work but there’s also a lot that just blast through it and leave it rough

me personally i frame like it’s finish work everything tight straight and thought out because i’m the one coming back to finish it and i don’t wanna fight my own work later

plus you gotta think about the next trade every step of the way make it easier for the next guy and the whole job comes out better

do it right the first time and everything else falls into place 👊

We got all the dry rot and black mold demoed reframed sheathed and new roof on in one day 💪 12 hour push but we had no choice rain was coming the next day

only had about a quarter tube of zipsystems liquid flash left on me so we improvised taped all the nail heads with zip tape to lock it down for the night low pitch roof so i wanted it 100% watertight

this is exactly why i love zip system being able to get something dried in and protected this fast is a game changer

and quick tip… set the depth on your nailer i see way too many guys just send nails and blow right through the barrier especially on 7/16 zip that kills the whole point of the system

not bad for a day’s work 👊

opened up this kitchen ceiling thinking we were just slapping up blueboard and plaster…

nope 👎

whole ceiling framed down with 2x3s barely tied in… i’m talkin i could shake the entire thing with one hand 😂 that homosote board they had up there is basically cardboard no shot that was holding anything long term

start pulling insulation and boom… black mold dry rot in the framing and roof sheathing

this is the stuff no one sees when they think “oh it’s just a remodel”

nahhh… this is why you hire someone who actually knows what they’re looking at

at that point patching it would be a hack job we’re already halfway in you either do it right or don’t do it at all

so now what started as a ceiling turns into reframing sheathing and a full rubber roof system

welcome to real construction 💪

Our poor beautiful baby girl fractured her arm at her afterschool program. Total accident, but it still hurts our hearts anytime our little girl gets hurt. 💔

This daredevil stays in action though… definitely not her first rodeo 😂 Wonder where she gets that from.

Even with a cast on, she’s still smiling with that radiant, beautiful smile that lights up every room. My God, Ava Lynn… you are one tough little girl. Daddy is so sorry this happened to you, and I’m praying you heal fast, strong, and surrounded by love. ❤️

And a huge shoutout to her mother for holding everything together through it all — absolute super mom status. 💪👑

We love you baby girl. Keep shining. LittleWarrior

Beautiful Saturday on the jobsite and me & Stevie Boy got after it 💪☀️

This Carbonized Osage picture frame got the full treatment — 2P10 glued + pocket hole screwed into one clean seamless piece, baby! 🔥

One thing I’ve noticed with Eva-Last decking… it glues very well. Since it’s not straight PVC, I don’t use PVC-specific adhesives like Titebond PVC cement. Instead, I go with 2P10, and the bond has been excellent every time. Strong, clean, and production friendly.

Details matter. Taking the extra time to make joints tight and solid is what separates average from pro work. 💯

Look at this kid gooo!! 😂🔥

And did you hear him, folks… the whole outfit was FREE 💀
I’m starting to think I should be asking Stevie boy for wardrobe advice… what do you guys think!?!?

I mean WOW… my guy really got it like that 🤣
That belt might’ve come from the women’s section… and that shirt might’ve been one stop away from the dumpster 😭

BUT—kid shows up and works his ass off every single time, no complaints. Can’t even hate on it 💯

Might need to get him a fresh trim on the dome and a little style upgrade… but we’ll get there 😂

All love, Stephen—just good jobsite humor at its finest 👊

Ohhh boyyy… Stevie boy is BACK in action 🔥💪

Man went MIA doing winter duty over at UPS, but he’s back on site and in rare form 😂

I’ll tell you right now—you won’t find many guys that work as hard as this kid. Shows up, listens, follows direction, and just grinds. No complaints, just gets after it every time 💯

Now… we DO gotta talk about the wardrobe 🤣
My guy shows up dressed like he’s about to go collect rent in 1942… I’m talking pants up to the chest, buttoned all the way up, looking like he just left a bingo hall 💀

But hey—if you can work like that, you can wear whatever you want 😂

Happy to have you back, brother—let’s get it 👊

Moving right along on the Rockport addition 🔥

We’re into the final finishing touches and wrapping up the exterior. Front landing is basically done—just a grab rail, some final fastening, and plugging on the white PVC trim.

Still have the back deck to finish, paint the front entry door, and knock out a few punch list items… but overall both myself and the client are extremely satisfied with how this project came out 💯

Big shoutout to for making an awesome decking product—this stuff looks 🔥 and I can’t wait to keep using it on future builds.
