With the brutal cold behind us, it sure felt great to get back to some dirt work. This early spring like weather is the perfect time to get your new roads installed. If you need a road, and want it built correctly give us a call. This roadway consists of 8“ of 3“ clean stone, capped with 6” of CA6, all atop of structural geotextile fabric. It will have no problem handling the frequent traffic of loaded semis.

Recent dam/shoreline restoration in Tioga Illinois. The dam was just wide enough to get a side by side across in the beginning, and covered in locust trees on both sides. The back of the dam was roughly a 2 to 1 slope and could not be maintained. The top of the dam was widened to 13’ and dirt was added to the back slope to achieve a 4 to 1 slope, which can now be easily maintained in the future. Two existing overflow pipes were decommissioned and replaced with one appropriately sized pipe. The northern shoreline was cleared and reshaped to gain more fishing access from the bank. This was one of the most enjoyable projects to date. The owners will be able to maintain their lake and continue to enjoy it for years to come.

This was the most enjoyable project this year by far! This is a duck hole managed by Mississippi Valley Hunters and Fishermen's Association that is strictly for veterans. I want to thank Glenn Sanders and Mark Derhake for the opportunity to do the work. It was a pleasure to work with you both.

Another site prep completed. This one was in Barry IL. Now it’s time for Jeremy Shepherd and Lora to start construction! Thanks for the business guys! And a big thanks to Stephen Ewers for getting my dozer up and going again after some hydraulic issues. If you need tractors, combines, dozers, or any other equipment repaired make sure to get ahold of him.

Cleared some unwanted trees, removed stumps, but the best part was building the berms for the shooting range! Tim Jeffries already has the ground worked and seeded. Now he just needs some rain. Going to be a nice food plot. Thanks for the business Tim and Mary!

Site prep for a new shed house in La Belle Missouri. Turned out nice and will have a great view after a couple more smaller are removed.
