Pennsylvania once again proving we are the Silicon Valley of “just make it work,” proudly unveiling our latest breakthrough in infrastructure technology: The Strap. Behold this parking-lot monolith, part lamp post, part archaeological ruin, part hostage situation. Held together by a single pink strap that probably came from the trunk of someone’s 2004 Impala. Engineers, We don’t need engineers. We have Steve from maintenance and twenty-five years of refusing to admit defeat. This isn’t a damaged concrete barrier; this is a load-bearing miracle of Pennsylvania resilience, a structural masterpiece that whispers, “Yeah it’s broken, but it ain’t falling on my shift.” Other states pour new concrete.

In PA, we tighten the strap, nod confidently, and call it a day. PennDOT wishes they had this kind of vision.
