The official name of this variety is "Robert Kemp Canna".
The bulbs (actually rhizomes) do need dug up each year and stored in the basement then replanted each year.
Each bulb will multiply through the growing season which is why we always have so many extras to give away. 😁

I want to brag on this guy for a bit. Chris has been with us over 3 years now and has been running and growing our Hardscape & Handyman divisions, as a project manager, along with sales. Chris's knowledge of construction & hardscaping is of the highest level we've ever had here. He is humble, patient, hardworking, knowledgeable in many areas. I am so grateful the Lord has crossed our paths. These pics are either jobs he's done or managed. 💪

Mowing division had a very stressful and wet week. Almost 4" in my rain gauge from Wed to Sat afternoon while trying to get done for the holiday weekend. Thank you for your hard work guys. June will be here soon, the grass will slow down, and we'll all have normal jobs again.

We are so grateful for Howard our "Snow Warrior" of the year for the 2025/2026 winter. He is our Landscape Division Manager, and stepped up this winter big time to help Josh manage our snow team, and make sure all our clients were taken care of.
