Another project done by us here at K&A in diamondhead with a complete shower pan rebuild from the foundation up

When it comes to showers and waterproofing what is underneath the tile matters just as much as what you see in the finished product

This shower had improper installation which caused the curb and grout lines to fail causing water damage

✅ Demoed existing shower pan down to the concrete
✅ Removed old pan and failed materials
✅ Prepped and cleaned concrete substrate
✅ Built new properly sloped mud bed with curb
✅ Installed new shower drain
✅ Applied Schluter Kerdi waterproofing membrane and cutout old rotted blue board and installed schluter all around the perimeter
✅ Waterproofed the shower pan and surrounding areas
✅ Installed new shower honeycomb floor tile with new subway tile to surround
✅ Grouted and finished the shower
✅ Sealed/caulked all necessary joints and transitions

⚒️Talk about a transformation! ⚒️

I had the pleasure of working for a wonderful family here in Pass Christian, MS and this bathroom got a complete makeover from the ground up.

✅ New plumbing throughout
✅ New electrical, including a new fan, vanity lights, and switch
✅ All new flooring
✅ Ceramic tile throughout
✅ New waterproof walls and complete schluter waterproofing
✅ New diverter and plumbing fittings
✅ Brand new fixtures
✅ Custom sliding glass shower with complete frame rebuild

A lot of work went into this one, but seeing the finished product makes it all worth it. Huge transformation from where it started, and I’m grateful to this family for trusting us with their home!

This project was a full gut, redesign, and rebuild. From an older early 2000s look to a sharp clean modern transformation

Another beautiful transformation completed here in Bay St. Louis! 🌊 We had the pleasure of creating this custom glass shower for an amazing couple on the beach, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

This project included:
➖Complete shower demolition and rebuild
➖New plumbing installation
➖New waterproof shower system by schluter with 6x4’ pan and 6” curbs
➖12x24 ceramic wall tile with curb matching
➖Pebble stone shower floor with border to match
➖Custom frameless and doorless glass enclosure
➖Custom tile border around the shower window
➖Matte black shower fixtures and Schluter trim to match
➖Seamless Built-in corner shelves

‼️Another beautiful bathroom remodel completed by us here at K & A Home Improvements. Customer called from Bay St. Louis needing her old outdated bathroom upgraded and that’s exactly what they got‼️

This project took us a little less than two weeks and included repairing multiple soft spots in the flooring, fixing moisture issues, redid the plumbing for the shower, sinks and toilet,red guarded the whole thing for added protection, installed beautiful new ceramic shower walls, and a brand new glass shower by dreamline for a clean modern finish.

We take pride in doing the job right the first time and delivering results our customers can be proud of that last.
