WE ARE GROWING MORE!

We have posted two other jobs this week and we are looking to hire more positions!

Spurr Co. is looking for an experienced grading foreman (superintendent) that can run a crew of up to 15 people. We are looking for an individual experienced in grading and underground work.

This position will require tractor work the majority of the day. Our work loads are commercial and residential housing tracts from Paso Robles to Lompoc with most work in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.

The majority of our jobs are private with a few prevailing wage. All employees will receive an evaluation after their first month of employment to ensure job standards are being met.

Job duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to timeliness and preparedness, following safety rules and protocols while performing job duties, working efficiently and effectively and cleaning up the job site at the end of each day, being a team player and following instructions and directions from superiors.

This position includes use of a company vehicle.

We require 2 or more years of experience, knowledge of construction and equipment, ability to lift 50 pounds and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to finish grade. The ability to lead underground crews is a plus but not required for this position. GPS experience with Tremble is a plus but not required.

Underground pipe layers must have experience with installing sewer/water/storm drain and dry utilities.

Our jobs sites are primarily located from Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo.
