Did you know sheep help vineyards thrive? 🌱🐑

With spring growth underway in vineyards across the country, sheep are back in the rows helping prepare the land for the season ahead.

Through natural grazing, they support healthier soils, stronger vines, and a more sustainable vineyard ecosystem, reducing the need for heavy machinery and herbicides while naturally returning nutrients back into the soil.

It’s a simple partnership that helps support healthier vineyards, better grapes, and a more thoughtful connection to the land. 🍷

There are many different ways to raise livestock. I think my sheep and goats enjoy their jobs and their lives, a lot more than if they were stuck in a field all the time

A new kind of pasture is coming to URI's Peckham Farm, one that combines forestland with pasture.
