After serving our community for approximately 18 1/2 years, it looks like Stoltzfus Painting will be closing our doors at the end of this year. We did a fun project in our house recently. Our boys decided they'd like to update their bathroom, so they did! And they did a fantastic job! The ceilings, walls, cabinets and trim were painted with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel, Extra White. The countertop was painted with Rust-Oleum Countertop Coating, Gray Mist. The vinyl floor was painted with Sherwin-Williams Porch & Floor Enamel, Urbane Bronze. The bathtub/shower was painted with white epoxy. The cabinet hinges were painted with a black areosol paint. The cabinet handles, outlets, switches, towel bars, toilet seat and medicine cabinet were all updated. The old sliding shower doors were removed and replaced with a curved shower rod and new shower curtains. As you can see, the final result is amazing !

It must be the time of year for exterior staining. :) This playset looks so much better with a fresh coat of stain!

The Roller Rink at Pretty Prairie is looking good with fresh paint in a 50's theme. The color on the beams and upper walls Is Pearly White, and the lower wall accent color is Cloudless. I have good memories of skating there with my family in the past, and hope to return there this fall when they open. I call this place a "living museum". It has an old popcorn machine, an old pinball machine, and they even have the old clip-on roller skates that started the whole roller skating craze (relax, they have newer equipment for you to use). Several movies have been filmed using these old skates. Be sure to put Pretty Prairie Roller Rink on your schedule this fall or winter.
