The clients request was to eliminate the front lawn area and create a water wise landscape that offered seasonal color with a variety of perennials and shrubs that flowered in pink and purple colors. They also wanted to create a habitat for birds, butterflies, and their grandsons rescue dog Korra Grace.
We redesigned the existing front area and removed the lawn and lawn sprinklers. A variety of colorful perennials were installed including pink and purple salvia, pink dianthus, purple mountain sun daisy’s and Russian sage. We completed the project by installing a drip irrigation system, flagstone steppers, boulders, a cobble swale for drainage, and cascade cedar mulch to retain moisture around the plants. This is truly a Coloradoscape front yard!
