The business has been closed for the last few weeks due to a medical emergency, I'm now recovering well and will be starting work again.
I'll be in the workshop 10 - 4 Thursday and Friday this week if you'd like to drop anything in and will be opening limited hours for the next few weeks, so it's best to contact me if you want to drop in.
I'd like to thank the customers I've delayed for their understanding and patience.

Just dropped off this mid century sideboard for some delighted customers. It came to us with the polish tired and worn, felt liners damaged and tarnished hardware, now, I think you'll agree, it looks stunning.

I've just completed these wardrobes for a client. They had to fit in an awkward alcove with a beam in it and couldn't have a sharp corner. All of the adjacent door stiles where cut from the same log so the figuring of the European oak matched. I also made a little cabinet to match to go over the staircase. I was very happy with the outcome.

So today I've been painting a duck!

Oak pannelled doors coming together for a big wardrobe. They're all going to be the same colour as the panels, but I polish them before I glue the doors up. If you look closely the grain matches on all the panels and doors, a lot of planning but it's a detail I love.
