Try some new ideas ! Infused oils. Left is made with basket of fire peppers, center is a mix of red savina habaneros and orange habaneros, right is a mix of red cayennes and cowhorns.

I’ve had quite the yield so far this year but I haven’t got many pictures yet ! Small batch picked from this morning.
From the top left; mini bell, 7 Pot Slimer, cowhorn, red cayenne, jalapeño, red savina habanero, orange habanero, orange reaper and orange scotch brain.

*The 7 Pot Slimer is possibly the new unofficial hottest pepper in the world, first one I’ve picked we will see if I let them ripen enough, they are supposed to stay green.

Happy June ! Happy to report all the peppers have been relocated outside after a long season in the house. These are all seedlings I started in November. Many Cowhorns and Jalapeños almost ready for picking, about half the remaining varieties have flowered and ready to fruit. There are 20 varieties this year, 18 pictured and going well, another two questionable.

First time growing purple cayennes. The flowers are actually a purple hue and unlike most cayenne peppers that start out green and ripen to their final color, the purple cayennes grew purple from the start.

I would like to share that my love of peppers has spread into my cow herd. My first little red calf ever I immediately named Chili Pepper. His registered name will be Lazy H Red Hot Chili Pepper and his name fits him, he’s such a character.
