Recently got some really nice 2x6 planks that I’m finishing and selling-they are as long as 72 inches and perfectly square. The finish can be whatever you desire. Pricing varies based on customer request but I promise you will not find a better quality product for a lower price. I also have mounting options. They can be installed as a floating shelf with no visible brackets or cast iron base brackets/cast iron wraps. Either way they will look fantastic. This piece was finished with tung oil. Message me for details. The more you buy, the cheaper per unit.

I had my final surgery on Tuesday. That being said, recovering is around 6 to 12 weeks. 8 screws and two plates later in my spine and I’m walking normally for the first time in my life. The pain is severe at moments but they will pass. I keep seeing memories from a year ago pop up and it makes me a little sad but gives me hope at the same time. When I was at the top of my game with this business I was able to fill orders daily, left and right, obtain inventory, evaluate quality and species, treat, borax, clean and flame dry and then finally finish. Piece after piece after piece. I won’t be able to work the way I did because it destroyed my body BUT I will be able to produce higher quality pieces because I’ll be taking my time. I look forward to the road ahead and look forward to having my side hustle back on track. This was my main source of income for a long time. I’m fortunate enough to still have a ton of inventory and look forward to serving my customers….maybe a little slower but the end result will be worth the wait. Stay tuned.

Still waiting on my back
To heal up….it’s amazing how much a little thing like a messed up spine can slow someone down. I have several pieces ready for sale that were finished prior to things being put on hold from my injury. Contact me for details.

I have a significant amount of inventory. I had to slow down because I have been waiting for a spinal surgery since June. I can still take orders but it takes a little bit longer to process the finishing. I’m willing to wholesale my inventory if need be, let me know if anyone out there needs some beautiful Reclaimed Finished Beam‘s or Hand hewn antique Barnwood.

Of a hotel lobby. I thought it was a great idea, no one else agreed. What do you think? If the response is positive, I’ll be making one in the near future. Probably smaller.

Lonely timber resting and waiting to meet The Jabber Jags touch. The two smaller ones in the first picture have a 14 inch surface and measure out approximately 70 inches in length. They aren’t sold, yet.

I posted these corbels in my previous post but didn’t post the beam that they go under. These were the same as the beam when I started. After grinding for about 4 hours and sanding for another hour, these were ready for install.

I learned something about red oak that is hundreds of years old when I made these:

It’s as hard as a rock and the sawdust tastes like crap.

Sealed the surface with Tung oil and BOOM,
the only mantle and corbel set of its kind.  this can be replicated. Pricing is based on size and now that I know what I know about wood that is hundreds of years old, age.
