Copeland Angus Ranch

Copeland Angus Ranch Copeland Angus is a seedstock operation committed to the Angus business. We always have bulls, cows, embryos, and semen for sale.

We began our herd of purebred Angus in 2010 with a goal of producing production-oriented cattle that can perform anywhere in the country. Since that time we have incorporated genetics from elite breeders such as Buford Ranches, Reisig Cattle, Werner Angus, Marshall and Fenner, and Kiamichi Link Ranch. Currently our herd genetics are focused around daughters of Buford Elba 9000, Sinclair Lady 1C8 4

465, Madame Pride 9832 and SAV 1094 mated to sires such as Buford Meatwagon Z406, BUF/KLR Blackhawk W969, SAV Resource 1441, EXAR Emblazon 8268, and SAV Bismarck 5682. We utilize artificial insemination, embryo transfer and invitro fertilization to achieve our goals. Our farm rests on top of beautiful Crowley's Ridge located in Northeast Arkansas. We are 10 miles south of the Missouri border, 20 miles north of Jonesboro and approximately 75 mile Northeast of Memphis, TN. 4100 reads with a tremendous $M, this doesnā€™t come by mistake, she is highly maternal throughout her pedigree! She encompasses what we are trying to do in our operation.

Her dam, Donna 406, has been a foundation donor in the program and continues to lay a foundation for us at the ripe age of 12 being bred to calve this fall!

She would be a maternal sister to an array of males and females that have been produced and promoted within the Coleman herd.

4100 is phenotypically pleasing and we are real excited to see what she produces on this first calf to the very popular Genex sire Coleman Below Zero due in early September!

We made a trip to Tennessee to the Ingram Spring sale and sure proud to have been able to acquire the lot 5 female!

She is an outcross female by the $180,000 Hummel South America back to Coleman Donna 0153.

This special female is a maternal sister to one of the hot bulls in the breed right now, Coleman Avalanche 487. He sold this past fall in the Coleman Maternal Source sale for $250,000 one half interest to Montana Ranch and Canadian Sires. She is also a maternal sister to the $300,000 valued Coleman Below Zero 2106!

We are excited about her future for us!

We were out to find a maternal outcross sire so while on vacation in Montana we decided to check out the bulls Colemanā€™s had to offer this year. When we got to pen 10 a bull caught our eye that had as much look and presence as anything we saw that day!

We feel Rocky has what it takes to make a highly sought after set of replacement females that will leave a lasting contribution to our herd!

It was a GREAT day yesterday at the Arkansas Angus Association Sharing the Success Sale! 403 is the female that we had in our minds to sell as a featured lot in the 2025 Sharing the Success sale! To say itā€™s tough to see her go is a huge understatement!! If you like to look at them in the pasture and study silhouette and function, 403 will be marked high on the list! She is deep and soggy while still maintaining a very feminine front end!

We think this is the foundation type of female! Her mom would have been the high selling pair at the NEA sale this spring, grandma was a sale feature a few year back in the sharing the success sale and now is a foundation cow in the Bolar Farms herd! We look forward to following 403s progress for years to come!
