Hi everyone! It's been a moment since I last gave an update, and if you've been through Pandora, you might be asking what happened to the shop??

After much reflection and prayer last year, I decided to take on a full time job again while putting LMI Designs back to a side business and allowing it to grow more organically. I feel this is the right path for LMI for now, allowing me to more intentionally develop a style and a good hybrid business structure for myself. I already feel so much growth in my abilities this year having made the switch.

That said, I am still passionate about helping people out with their designs and am still taking clients (I am booked for 2026, and am booking into 2027)! I will be functioning out of my home in Ottawa instead of at my previous location in Pandora. Everything will be by appointment only, so be sure to reach out at 567-376-9057 or email me at [email protected] for your home design needs.

In other news, I will be taking on another special project of my own this fall. I will be taking on a flip house and sharing my experience with you all!! My design style has changed and developed so much in the last 2 years and I can't wait to show you the finished product!

I want to take a moment and thank God for what a wonderful ride this experience has been thus far. Not everything has been easy, but I have been blessed with another day of trying to be better than I was the day before and I couldn't ask for anything better than that.

The owners of village hardware have been family friends since I was in diapers. They have an amazing thing going, provide only the best products, and most importantly try to treat everyone that walks through their doors like family. Go check them out!

Project Spotlight ✨️

This owner reached out to LMI Designs looking for a way to expand their garage and make the back end of the home look more cohesive. They wanted an update, but wanted the new portion to look like it had always been there.

After working together with the owners, LMI was able to design this garage addition and get it on paper ready to build.

Not only has this new addition allowed the owners to park more than one car in the garage, it has allowed them to have the space for the most important thing...their growing family. With decorations up and heat on, this owner was able to spend a lovely holiday with everyone in the same space. And after all, thats what design is all about right? Creating a beautiful space in which you can connect and build memories with your loved ones.
