Y’all, to every family affected by Isaias and every person showing up to help—we’re praying for each and every one of you. We stand strong together, and right now that means checking on our neighbors and helping however we can.

This hits close to home for us. We have family here affected by this storm, and we know there are so many others worried about their loved ones, their homes, and what tomorrow is going to look like.

To the firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, dispatchers, rescue teams, National Guard, linemen, volunteers, and crews working long hours thank you. To everyone headed down there with supplies, equipment, or a willingness to get their hands dirty thank you, too. We’re praying for your safety and for the families waiting for you back home.

And to those picking up the pieces, you don’t have to have everything figured out today. We’re praying you find comfort, get some rest, and have good people beside you when you need them.

Keep checking on each other. Make that phone call. Bring that meal. Help clear that driveway. Sometimes the smallest thing you do is what gets somebody through the day.

From our families at Barrier Luxe Roofing and Barrier Luxe Coastal Construction to yours, we’re praying for you and standing with you.

We stand strong together. God bless every family and every helping hand down here or headed here. 🙏

Y’all keep the folks down there in Florida and along the Alabama coast in your prayers. Hurricane Isaias is expected to come ashore tonight near the western Florida Panhandle and Alabama as a major hurricane, bringing dangerous storm surge, damaging winds, heavy rain, flooding, and possible tornadoes. Those threats can carry inland, too.

From all of us the owners, partners, and teams at Barrier Luxe Roofing and Barrier Luxe Construction this hits close to home. Members of our crew, crew family members, also our owners families are right in the direct path of this storm. These are people we love, places we know, and communities that mean something to us.

Watching a forecast takes on a whole different meaning when you’re checking on your own people and wondering what the next update will bring. And we know we’re far from the only ones doing that today. There are families trying to decide where to go, folks checking on their parents, and business owners doing everything they can to protect what they’ve spent years building.

We stand behind everybody already down there helping and everyone headed that way. The first responders, linemen, utility crews, contractors, volunteers, and neighbors looking after one another—we appreciate y’all. A lot of those people are leaving their own families to go help somebody else’s, and that deserves our respect and support.

With our backgrounds in construction and emergency response, we understand that the work doesn’t end when the storm passes. There’s a long road after that, and the people showing up to help make a difference.

If you’re down there, please follow your local updates and evacuation orders. Check on your neighbors, especially anyone who needs help getting somewhere safe. We know leaving your home is hard. We want y’all safe and able to come back.

Praying for protection over our family and yours, and for everyone answering the call to help. Much love from all of us at Barrier Luxe Roofing and Barrier Luxe Construction. Y’all are on our minds.
