We have decided to remain closed until Monday 1-27-25.
Even though the major roads may be clearing, many of the roads that we travel have had zero attention. The safety of our personnel and the safety of the public is our utmost priority. We appreciate your understanding during this most unusual time but we will back to full swing on Monday.

Its still a little early but we are monitoring the approaching weather. If it becomes certain that our service area will experience icy roads on Tuesday 1-21-25, Disposal Services will ground all trucks as a safety precaution for our personnel and the traveling public. No one likes a 70,000 # truck on ice skates. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you to all of you that conduct business with Disposal Services, LLC. Without you there is no us.
In 2009 I was hired and tasked to grown a upstart Waste Company in Panama City, FL. with 2 trucks, 1 driver and 108 Rolloff cans. I set out to build a reputation based on service and integrity. “Say what you mean, do what you say and don’t make excuses.”

Now 15 years later, I am an owner of Disposal Services, LLC and it is one of the largest Waste Companies in the state with 60 employees covering 13 counties. We have grown exponentially since 2009 and we continue to grow today.

Today my partner and I welcomed our two newest trucks to our fleet.
Two 2024 Kenworth T880’s purchased from Premier Trucks in Cleveland, Ohio. These trucks were a much needed addition to maintain the level of service that we have always strived to provide.

Im grateful to our staff that represents our company day in and day out. They are the true heros of our company.

But mostly I’m thankful to God who saw fit to bless our company even when things were hard.

In the background is the demolition of the old Sears store in the former Panama City Mall which never reopened after Hurricane Michael.

The majority of our staff was safe at home with their families today and fortunately most of our service areas were spared from major damage from Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately not all of our service areas were spared. We took numerous calls to provide service for the numerous Line Crew Camps to our east. We started yesterday and will continue tomorrow getting equipment to those that always puts us back together after the storms.
All personnel and equipment will be back at it in the morning. If you walk outside in the morning and it’s a normal day, say a prayer for those that have been devastated to our east. We’ve been there and feel their pain. We will be working Saturday as well playing catch up. Traffic will be bad with people desperately wanting to return home. Please be patient and kind to one another. Some have lost everything. God Bless and Stay Safe!!

We will be closed tomorrow to allow our employees the opportunity to prepare for Hurricane Helene. Their safety and the safety of their families are the most important thing we have to concern ourselves with.

Businesses will resume on Friday unless we are still dealing with an active storm, then it will be Saturday.

Patience will be key. We may experience power outages and communication may become unstable. We will overcome the issues and get back on track quickly. We survived a direct hit from Michael which was a Cat 5 after loosing our office we still managed to return to being fully operational in just 4 days.

We will post alternate contact numbers if it becomes necessary.

Existing customers will take priority over any potential new customers. We do not chase storms. We will not be sending equipment to the Big Bend area and will continue to focus on our existing territory.

Life is the most important thing to protect, everything else is just stuff. Be safe and be kind.

God Bless Florida

Thank you to the men and women that make our company great. It’s your dedication and professionalism that has made us what we are.

The coming days will test us as a whole but know that we are a family and we will look after each other as a family.

Those that were with us through Hurricane Michael saw a dozen “companies of opportunity” roll into town and none of them remain.

We will remain loyal to our existing customers, our prices will remain steady and we will NOT abandon our principles at the expense of our community.
