Have you ever heard your sweet Granny explain what you do for work? She knows you work hard, but the rest of the explanation can get pretty funny… “he packs a lunch every day… and always comes home dirty.” 😂

Everyone seems to have a different idea of what our crews do at GCUC. In all fairness our projects are huge and we cover all aspects of each job, so it can vary day to day!

It’s always fun hearing what our guy’s children think they do! They just know their Dad or Mom get to drive all the cool trucks and big equipment!!🚜

Whoever decided “not a cloud in sight” was a good thing clearly never worked outside in Florida. 🌥️

Here’s to another glorious week of “feels like” 110° weather. 🥵

We’ve gotta give y’all credit, you made this one fun. 😂

A lot of you knew the job almost immediately, but we couldn’t give in to soon!

Pirates Voyage started for us in December 2023 and wrapped up in July 2025.

By the end of it, the GCUC team had logged 25,537.82 hours on this project!! 😮‍💨

That’s a lot of work between the first dirt moved and the finished product you see on Panama City Beach today! 🏴‍☠️

This job will always be a cool one to look back on & to have been a part of!
