🌧️ WE’RE WATCHING THE STORM AND WE’RE WATCHING OUT FOR YOU. 🌧️
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is closely monitoring the storm and staying in constant communication with our emergency management partners. Our deputies, dispatchers, supervisors, and support personnel are preparing now so we’re ready to respond to whatever this storm brings.
But we need you to prepare now, too.
🌀 Know your evacuation zone and have a plan.
🏠 Secure outdoor furniture and anything that could become a projectile.
⛽ Fill up your vehicles and have several days of food, water and medications.
🔦 Charge your phones and have flashlights, batteries and important documents ready.
🐶 Don’t forget your pets.
⚡ If using a generator, keep it outside and away from doors, windows and vents.
Residents in Evacuation Zones A and B are strongly encouraged to relocate to a safer location before conditions deteriorate. Don’t wait until roads become flooded or impassable.
Please stay off the roads when conditions worsen.
Most importantly, stay informed through official sources. Sign up for AlertBay at AlertBay.org and follow the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Bay County Emergency Services for verified updates.
We’re preparing. We’re ready. And we’re looking out for you. Let’s make sure you’re ready, too. 💙
