HELP WANTED:
Mainline Construction is seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic construction industry maintenance and repair team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems utilized by our heavy equipment, diesel engines, trucks, tractors and site equipment and tools. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical
Repair and replace components on construction machinery and trucks
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future maintenance tasks.
Conduct field service activities involving heavy equipment troubleshooting, analysis skills, and customer service to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Collaborate with field teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and analyzing system failures to implement effective solutions.
Requirements

Proven experience working in a construction facility or industrial environment with a strong understanding of diesel mechanics.
Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance across various systems hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters confidently.
Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management; strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
